For customers looking to customize their riding experience we now offer the Eggrider Display. This setup will allow up to 18 power levels and does not limit your ability to turn up the power. PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU CHANGE THE SETTINGS TO ABOVE THE PRESET 13KW YOU WILL TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU BLOW YOUR MOTOR. USE COMMON SENSE...CHECK YOUR MOTOR PERIODICALLY AND FEEL IF ITS RED HOT TO THE TOUCH. IF THE MOTOR IS GETTING TOO HOT YOU ARE RUNNING TOO MUCH POWER! The stock motor is a 5kw RATED motor. It can handle much higher peaks in excess of 20kw in testing...this does not mean you can ride wide open throttle on the highway at 80mph for 20 miles. USE COMMON SENSE. DO NOT LET THE MOTOR OVERHEAT!

This is a plug and play 72v kit for the Surron/Segway x160/260. You will need a 72v Battery capable of 300amp peaks to run this controller (NOT INCLUDED)
Tuning: 13,500watts Please select NO REGEN or ROLL OFF THROTTLE REGEN IF CHOOSING THE NO DISPLAY KIT. This is if you want the motor to engage when you let off the throttle and slow the bike or if you want to freespin select NO REGEN.

MAKE SURE YOUR BATTERY IS REMOVED FROM THE BIKE AND BREAKER SWITCHED OFF. Carefully remove the stock controller from your bike. Make sure you do not strip any bolts out. Also remove the stock mounting arms on the bottom, as well as the top bracket. You will also be removing the tilt sensor which is behind a black metal housing. Unscrew the metal bracket and unplug the tilt sensor. Once everything is removed you are ready to start the install. Locate the 3 motor phase wires coming from the motor. (you will have unscrewed them from the stock controller along with the battery cables). You will have a phase wire extension kit included. (We did not include a block to extend the wires as none of them are rated for the 500+ phase amps these cables will see). Take one of the 8awg silicone cables and attach the 2x lugs together with the included bolt and nut. Once tightened down firmly slip one of the marine heatshrinks over it and apply heat(blow dryer, lighter, heatgun all work). Do this with all 3 of the phase wires. (make sure you can see which one is which color). You will connect the 3 phase wires to the new controller along with the 2 power cables. (there is also a small black wire for the battery negative terminal on the controller. This goes on top of the battery negative lug). PHASE WIRES...U - GREEN....V- YELLOW....W-BLUE...MAKE SURE THEY MATCH. (All of the wires will be facing inwards to the controller so there is room to mount behind it. All of the wires should be running towards the little red light) Finally plug in the new harness and connect the 2x plugs to the surron stock harness. They are okey pokey so no 2 are the same. Once you have the harness plugged in, install the battery and turn the bike on. Make sure the bike powers on and the throttle works. Once you confirm the bike powers on, flip the breaker off and finish the install with the included mounting brackets. YOU WILL INSTALL THE BOTTOM ARMS TO THE FRAME WITH THE OLD BOLTS FROM STOCK ARMS.. FOR THE TOP MOUNTING BRACKET USE THE BOLTS THAT WERE ON THE FRAME NEAR THE TILT SENSOR. THEY LINE UP PERFECTLY WITH THE BOLT HOLES ON THE ARMS. YOU WILL NEED TO WORK THE HARNESS UP AND INTO THE FRAME A LITTLE TO MAKE THE INSTALL EASIER. THE NEW HARNESS WITH 90 DEGREE BENDS FOR THE WIRES HELPS ALOT.
THE ONLY THING THAT DIFFERS FROM BIKE TO BIKE IS THE THROTTLE. THERE ARE SEVERAL TYPES OF SURRON THROTTLES WITH DIFFERENT OPERATING VOLTAGES ALONG WITH AFTERMARKET THROTTLES YOU CAN USE. IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH YOUR THROTTLE NOT WORKING OR CUTTING OUT WE WOULD NEED TO REMOTE CALIBRATE IT FOR YOU. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE 2 APPS, BACDOOR AND TEAMVIEWER. WE WOULD NEED YOU STANDING NEXT TO THE BIKE WITH THE KEY TURNED ON. WE ARE AVAILABLE TO REMOTE CONNECT MONDAY-FRIDAY 9AM-5PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME.
