About Roth Rattle Bombs

Roth Flake is the standard for hot rod, motorcycle, and electric guitar customizers looking to add rock and roll dynamite to their creations.  We are stoked to offer it here in aerosol rattle cans for your bikes! How cool is that?

Follow the instructions below to create your Masterpiece!

OPTION 1 - TRADITIONAL FLAKE + KANDY JOB:

  • BASE COAT
  • FLAKE COAT
  • KANDY COAT
  • 2K CLEAR COAT

1 - Choose your Color Scheme
First, choose a color from our selection of Rattle Bomb Basecoats and then pick the matching Rattle Bomb Flake for best results (or vice versa).

2 - Customize

Next, choose a Rattle Bomb Kandy to add vivid depth to the project. You can use the Kandy that matches your Flake and Base or create your own masterpiece with a completely different Kandy!

    3 - Clear Coat

Last, clear coat your masterpiece with 2K Spray Max Clear! This will give the job a hard, polishable, professional finish layer.  Your paint will look just like it came out of a pro shop!

Follow directions and use a mask for this product!

    • BASE COAT
    • PEARL BOMB
    • 2K CLEAR COAT
Create Class.  For a classy or even, dare we say, elegant look, choose a Pearl Rattle Bomb. Pearls are perfect for fine accents! Spray 'em over Skidmark Black or Avalanche White Basecoat

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

    • ALWAYS USE PROTECTION! Use a respirator or mask that covers your mouth and nose. Spray in an area with good ventilation. Wear gloves.
    • You may wish to scuff your bike down, add a layer of primer, and then wet sand it with 800 grit paper and wipe it down before adding the base coat. This will ensure a very smooth base coat.
      • Save money, time, and hassle: get the Paint Project Kit.  We will give you everything you need for your job in one box for about $21.25 ! That includes a respirator, gloves, sanding paper, wiping clothes, scuff pad, 3 types of masking tape, and (optional) degreaser. Or just $12 without the degreaser!  (It is a real value - especially if you use the discount code PAINTKIT when buying paint!)
      • For the best results on plastic bike fenders and batteries, we highly recommend using bulldog adhesive promoter (5 minutes to tack) and then SEM grey flexible hi-build primer (light coats and let coats dry) before applying any type of paint.
      • Paints ship at our discounted rate of just $6 by UPS Ground.
